After an extensive photo shooting or whenever there's the need to select from a large amount of pictures for a project, Kodiak is offering their customers to browse and preview the pictures in the Kodiak Customer Portal. Images can also be selected using a simple shopping cart funtionality.
Often, especially when doing phone support for CMS websites, it is very helpful when we see what you see. Kodiak uses the Desktop Sharing software TeamViewer (www.teamviewer.com).
Usually you are already on the phone with a Kodiak support member. Now you simply launch the little client application that you can download here.
Security:
No worries - it is always you who controls when and when not we can see your screen. For each connection, Kodiak needs a fresh, randomly created ID, that you need to read to us on the phone. As soon as you close the client app, Kodiak is cut off. If you or your IT department have security concerns, please read TeamViewer's Security Statement.
Tip:
Close all windows and remove everything from your desktop, that we should not see prior to submitting your ID and password. We really don't want to see your online banking web page or an Excel sheets with your financial statements.
Note on screen colours:
Desktop Sharing is NOT suited to discuss nuances of colour in web or print productions! The colour depth of your screen will be reduced and graphics will be dithered to enhance transmission speed.
